Yay Baseball!

Now that the NCAA tournament is over and done with and completely out of my head and I have no bitterness what-so-ever towards anything or any team (breathe), I am free to focus my attention to the Astros. 

The 'Stros open on April 5th against Tim Lincecum and the San Francisco Giants.  Like Super Bowl Monday, I firmly believe MLB Opening Day should be a national holiday.  We could replace some other holiday with Opening Day.  I mean honestly, do we really need Good Friday? 

The Astros, as a whole, seem to be a huge question mark this year.  Will they push for a playoff spot?  Who is going to be the fifth starter?  Will the offense be anything this year?  I'm far from being an expert, so I'm not gonna even attempt to answer these questions.  I just know that I'm ready for the season to start so I can get that damn tournament out of my head.  F*$%in' Northern Iowa.
